This policy explains what data Veyra collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It covers the web app at veyraplayer.uk and the Veyra app for iPhone, including CarPlay.

We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
Your audio files are never used to train AI models.
We use these service providers to run Veyra. Each only receives what it needs for its job:

Some providers process data outside the UK (for example in the EU or US). Where they do, transfers are protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
If you join a Family plan, the plan owner can see your name, email and profile photo, and can remove you. Your library stays private unless you choose to share it.
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your profile, library metadata, playlists, saved stations, podcast subscriptions and sign-in are removed immediately, and your uploaded audio files are deleted from storage within 30 days. You can also email us to confirm your files have been removed. Payment records may be kept longer where the law requires it (for example, for tax).
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, download, or delete your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent (for example, turn off location in iPhone Settings) at any time.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our storage providers. Access to your library is restricted to your account and the household members you choose.
Veyra is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. Younger household members may use Veyra only through a parent's Family plan with the parent's permission. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
The web app uses only essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember invite links. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
We'll update the date at the top when this policy changes and tell you in the app or by email about significant changes.
